Real and Replica

About this car:

I confess, I have a Speedster replica. But to show I 'get it', I had a 'real' '65 356C back in 1980 or so. Bought it for $5,000; had great paint, new interior but was a real rust bucket underneath as I found out the hard way. Sold it around 1983; why didn't I just garage it and do a restoration when I had more money? Fast forward to 2010 and decided to buy a Speedster before I get too old. Ooops, have prices gone up over the years? Saw an Intermeccanica replica at a car show and figured I could afford that so bought one in the same color as my original 356C, Guards red. Have had tremendous fun with this car traveling the Northwest.
